We Are Oceanty

About Me.

Life as an entrepreneur is not easy. It is a roller coaster ride of highs and lows, with plenty of challenges along the way. I have a proven track record of building award winning and scalable software companies. From selling my augmented reality enterprise software (Ario) in 2022 and winning $1M from Verizon to build that platform for 5G I have serviced some of the top fortune 500 companies in the past. I have a passion for mobile gaming and have the drive to succeed, entrepreneurship has been a very rewarding experience and excited to bring my mobile games to the world.

Here are some of the things I learned along my journey:

  • Long hours and hard work: Owning your own business means being on the clock 24/7. There will be times when you have to work long hours, even when you don't feel like it. And there will be times when you have to put in the hard work, even when it's not glamorous. But if you're passionate about your business, the hard work will be worth it in the end.

  • Uncertainty and risk: Entrepreneurship is all about taking risks. You'll never know for sure if your business will be successful. But if you're willing to take risks and learn from your mistakes, you'll be well on your way to success.

  • Freedom and flexibility: One of the best things about being an entrepreneur is the freedom and flexibility it offers. You can set your own hours, work from anywhere, and be your own boss. But with freedom comes responsibility. You'll need to be disciplined and organized to run your business successfully.

  • Personal growth: Entrepreneurship is a journey of personal growth. You'll learn new things, meet new people, and experience new challenges. And as you grow as a person, your business will grow with you.

Education

2005-2008

Applied Physics/Computer Science
Christopher Newport
University

Applied physics is a challenging and rewarding field. Here are some of the things I learn in applied physics:

  • Classical mechanics: The study of the motion of objects under the influence of forces.

  • Electromagnetism: The study of the interaction between electricity and magnetism.

  • Thermodynamics: The study of heat and its relation to other forms of energy.

  • Quantum mechanics: The study of the behavior of matter and energy at the atomic and subatomic level.

  • Optics: The study of light and its properties.

  • Electronics: The study of the flow of electricity in circuits.

  • Materials science: The study of the properties of materials and how they are affected by their structure.

  • Computer science: The study of computers and computational systems.

2002-2005

Mechanical Engineering  Associates
Virginia Peninsula Community College

Mechanical engineering is a broad field that encompasses a wide range of topics. Here are some of the courses I learned:

  • Mechanics: The study of forces and how they affect the motion of objects.

  • Thermodynamics: The study of heat and its relation to other forms of energy.

  • Fluid mechanics: The study of the motion of fluids, such as air and water.

  • Materials science: The study of the properties of materials and how they are affected by their structure.

  • Manufacturing: The process of converting raw materials into finished products.

  • Design: The process of creating new products and systems.

  • Analysis: The process of studying how things work and how they can be improved.

2002-2005

Certificate Drafting and Design
Virginia PeninsulaCommunity College

Here are some of the things I learned in drafting and design:

  • Technical drawing: Technical drawing is the process of creating accurate drawings of objects. This includes understanding the principles of perspective, dimensioning, and orthography.

  • Computer-aided drafting (CAD): CAD is the use of computer software to create technical drawings. This software allows you to create 2D and 3D drawings, as well as perform other tasks such as analysis and simulation.

  • Materials science: Materials science is the study of the properties of materials and how they are affected by their structure. This knowledge is important for drafting and design because it allows you to select the right materials for your projects.

  • Engineering mechanics: Engineering mechanics is the study of forces and how they affect the motion of objects. This knowledge is important for drafting and design because it allows you to create objects that are strong and stable.

  • Mathematics: Mathematics is used extensively in drafting and design. This includes topics such as geometry, trigonometry, and calculus.

  • Communication: Communication is an important skill for any field, but it is especially important in drafting and design. You will need to be able to communicate your ideas to others, both verbally and in writing.

  • Problem-solving: Drafting and design is a problem-solving field. You will need to be able to identify problems, come up with solutions, and test those solutions.

  • Creativity: Creativity is also an important skill for drafting and design. You will need to be able to come up with new ideas and solutions.

  • Attention to detail: Drafting and design is a detail-oriented field. You will need to be able to pay close attention to detail in order to create accurate and precise drawings.
